I'm an artist specialized in character design and visual development for animation.You can find some of my published articles in diverse professional CG magazines such as 3DWorld, 3DArtist and 3DCreative. Also some of my illustrations have been published in the EXOTIQUE book.
I'm able to do the whole process from 2d concept art to 3d, 3d modeling with topology for good deformation in animation, uv layout, blend shapes for expressions, texture shading, lighting and final rendering. I work with Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop and Blender. If necessary I can adapt my work to other software.
I can easily follow art directions with the minimum explanations.

Animated short film "Alike”. Alike won the "Premios Goya" award 2016 Best animated short film.
Best animation short film award Mundos Digitales International Film Festival 2015.
Responsibilities: Art director of the TV series “Holymonks”. It was selected for the prestigious International Festival of Animation in Annecy, France and Siggraph Asia (HongKong) among others. After it Holymonks was acquired by Channel + France who emited it in more than 70 countries. ("Holymonks" is a registered trademark property of Luis Arizaga).
Responsibilities: working as a 3D artist. Clients includes SHACKLETON MADRID S.L., Motoko creative motion design, KJ-Artists.com, Imagine Publishing, 3D total.
